At Waters Edge Gros Morne, you’ll feel like part of our family from the moment you arrive. Meet our daughter Adelaide, our Bernese Mountain dog Finli, our free-range chickens (providing fresh eggs for our café), family, friends and even chatty fishermen who add humor and warmth to your morning coffee as they check their traps in front of the campground. Our small, family-run campground overlooks the fjord and is conveniently nestled in the heart of our charming village. We have a limited number of sites and being directly on the fjord, we book up quickly in June, July, August, and September. Our campground offers premier waterfront camping with a range of site styles, modern amenities, and stunning views of Bonne Bay Fjord in Gros Morne National Park.
What types of campsites do you offer?
We offer five site styles: oceanfront 30 Amp, oceanfront 15 Amp, oceanfront water-only, Marina oceanfront 30 Amp, and oceanview unserviced Rv and tenting sites
Do campsites come with electrical hookups?
Yes, some campsites offer 30 Amp or 15 Amp hookups, while others are water-only or unserviced to suit different camping needs.
What amenities are available at the campsite??
All sites provide free access to modern, clean comfort stations, and there’s a free Parks Canada dump station just before you arrive.
Where are the oceanfront sites located?
Our oceanfront sites are located directly on the Bonne Bay fjord, offering immediate water access and breathtaking views.
How do the oceanview unserviced sites differ?
These sites are on an elevated platform located across the road, providing ocean views without on-site utilities but still have acess to our waterfront sitting area, bathrooms, showers, shop and all activities. Great choice for self sufficient campers looking for a safe and secure spot next to all of Gros Mornes best activities.
Are marina sites available for campers?
Yes, our Marina Ocean Front sites offer 30 Amp power and water hook ups, ideal for couples traveling together, and are suitable for Class B & C vehicles.
Is there pet-friendly campground in Gros Morne?

Yes, select areas of the campground offer Wi-Fi to keep you connected during your stay. Wifi does not reach every site every site but is available close to the shop, our sitting areas, picnic areas and select sites

What security measures are in place at the campground?
Our property is secured with on-site management and regular facility maintenance to ensure guest safety. Gros Morne National Park, especially our little fishing community is very safe and quiet. People here still leave their doors unlocked and not much really happens here. One time last year someone thought they had a chicken stolen but it was just up the tree by the coop
Is there a picnic area available?
Yes, we have a huge waterfront picnic area for guests to enjoy meals and relax outdoors over looking the Bonne Bay Fjord

The deep water located right off the shore of our campground brings in whales every year right close up to shore making us truly unique and special
